Vision
Encourage and strengthen an environment of research in Medical University
Bridge the gap in the infrastructure to improve the health research and services;
To ensure the geographical spread of health research infrastructure in Medical University and in other nearby institution;
To improve overall health status of the population by creating evidence-based application of diagnostic procedures/processes/methods;
To promote multicentric projects and facilitate the information interchange
To provide a trained human resource for assisting Medical /Dental/Nursing/Paramedical faculties to upgrade the level of research
To conduct and facilitate conferences, seminars, and workshop on various aspects of medical education and research;
To promote the writing of various research proposal and helping in application process for extramural fundings in DST-SERB, ICMR, CSIR, DBT, UGC, DHR, DAE and others agencies
To review and assess the research project as well as their progress by Research Advisory Committee as per DHR rules;
To Undertake clinical trials as per the Allocation of Business Rules of Government of India.
