General Information:
Department of urology was established in 2016 and at present 4 full time faculty
members are working in the department. The department is equipped with all the basics
and advanced equipments to perform endourological, open and laproscopic procedures.
The department has excellent endourological setup with 180 watt KTP green light
laser for prostate and in processing 100 watt Holmium laser for prostate and stone
surgeries in the near future. Percutaneous procedure for kidney, bladder and ureter
are being performed on regular basis. The department also has extra corporeal shock
wave lithotripsy(ESWL) system for small kideny and ureteric stones.
The department performs various uro oncosurgical procedure by open and laproscopic
methods regulary with excellent outcome.
Reconstructive urological procedure for hypospadiasia, urethral stricture, ureteric
stricture, vasicovaginal fistula, ureterovaginal fistula, small capacity bladder
etc. are done regularly with excellent outcomes.
The department is also equipped with a state of the art urodynamic machine. Following
